Our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and son, Vincent “Vince” Cunningham, Age 61, died in his Clearfield home early Saturday morning October 16, 2021 after a long and hard fought battle with Diabetes and Coronary Heart Disease. He was born in Wichita Kansas on April 2, 1960 to Ervin Leroy Cunningham (deceased) and Patsy Jane Harris.\n\nVince was 6 years old when he moved to Ogden Utah with his family. His dad worked at Peavey Flour Mills and his mom was a teacher for many years. He graduated from Bonneville high school with a letter in swimming. He furthered his education at the University of Phoenix. Vince brought laughter to this world with his witty, happy character. He was always cracking jokes, pulling pranks, and making people smile. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.\n\nHe married his first wife, Patricia “Tish” Howell on March 5, 1982 through August 27, 1986. That marriage resulted in the birth of his first-born child, Amanda Cunningham. He later found and married the love of his life, Jeanette Severin. They were married April 8, 1989, and raised 5 wonderful children together.\n\nVince worked numerous years for the Operating Engineers Local Union running heavy equipment, a job he truly enjoyed. He loved handling heavy equipment and was always willing to give advice and jump in to help when building things. He later worked various jobs including bartending, customer service and banquet supervisor.\n\nVince had a passion for being in the mountains. He loved camping, fishing and hunting. He loved sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows. October was his favorite month because he loved the changing leaves, Halloween and especially looked forward to the annual hunt. He was always the first to start the oohs and awes at the fireworks. Vince was a devoted husband, father and family man, always trying to add joy to their lives. His son, Brandon, always kept him on his toes with testing him on Disney movie trivia.\n\nVince was preceded in death by his father, Ervin LeRoy Cunningham, and his dear friend Kim Karas, among others. He is survived by his mother Patsy, brother David (Dawn) Cunningham and his five children: Amanda Cunningham, Sharon (Sean) Bertelsen, Brandon Cunningham, step daughters Tiffiny Hillman, Desiree’ (Ross) Barker and 6 grandchildren. We are grateful for the love and support from Pastor Kurt Hering, Loretta Burns, Jaylee Kyleeanne, Stephine Zolnik, Elisa Mikkelsen and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and additional family and friends\n\nA special thanks goes to Emma Sangiorgio who has been so helpful with Vince’s son, Brandon.
