Roy- Tom was born Oct 27, 1955 to Clive and Phyllis Israel in Banning, California. Tom was the second of 3 children, Kathy Easley and then after Tom was David. Tom died on Sept 17, 2019 on his daughters 41st birthday due to Kidney Failure.Tom Moved to Marysville California when he was a senior in High School, he enjoyed playing on the High School basketball team in which he lettered in. He joined the Army where he served in active duty for 2 years.Tom moved to Utah after leaving the Army and met his loving and caring wife Judy Sudweeks. They were married Nov. 16, 1979. Judy had 2 children when they were joined in marriage in which he later adopted and raised them as his own.Tom worked many different jobs up until his illnesses made it so he was unable to work anymore. He loved spending time with his wife, his children and his grandchildren who were the light of his life. He enjoyed B.B.Q at his daughter’s house where he would get to hang out with his “Backyard Buddy” William (Bill) Hawes (Papa Granddad). He loved his dogs and they were always there to help him though his illness Brittany and Gage who were always by his side and now they have met him in Heaven.Tom is survived by his wife Judy Israel who will miss him dearly, son Chris (Tempes) Israel, daughter Rachel (LaMar) Williams, his grandchildren Christopher Israel, Toure’ and Aliyah Williams, sister Kathy Easley and brother Davis Israel, Brother in law Ken (Jan) Sudweeks and sister in law Leslie (Marshell) Boehme, 8 nephews, 4 nieces and many loving great nephews and great nieces.Tom was proceeded in death by his mother and father, his father and mother in law Ralph and Uthana Sudweeks, Uncle Bob and Aunt Ilene McOsker, his “Back yard buddy” William (Bill) Hawes.Celebration of life for Tom will be held on Saturday Sept 28, 2019 from 2-5 pm at the Clinton 23rd ward, 2206 W 2300 N, Clinton, UT 84015. Please dress casual for that is what Tom would want. Cremation under the direction of Provident Funeral Home, 3800 S Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84403.The family would like to say thank you to South Ogden Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center staff, a special thanks to Brandon, Mackenzie and Makayla for all their loving care while he was there. Thanks to Invision home Health and Hospice staff Amber, Hailey and Nate for taking care of Tom during his last week while in the center.
