Before he could drive, he knew his way around a car better than most. He was an accomplished ski-racer who competed in the 1980 Junior Olympics and took the gold in the downhill. His motocross career with Indian Motorcycles was successful as well. He ranked #7 in a Utah local competition.\n\nTad graduated Cum Laude from the University of Utah in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. Soon thereafter, Tad landed at Tech-Steel working in the structural steel industry. During his 33-year career, he spearheaded many successful projects including the University of Utah football stadium and the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas.\n\nTad was a dedicated leader, an inspiration, and a caregiver. He always had everyone’s best interest top of mind, both at work and at home. The last five years of Tad’s life were devoted to the Warrior Rizen Ranch. He spent countless hours donating his time and skills to better the lives of U.S. Military veterans.\n\nTad was a devoted father and role model to his children. His guidance and acumen helped cultivate successful careers and entrepreneurship. Tad and his daughter Alivia had an especially strong father-daughter relationship. He guided her through many life trials including school, her fashion/ design career, new business ventures and collegiate sports.\n\nTad’s love was unconditional. He and Carrie were inseparable. They spent countless weekends going on Harley rides throughout the country, covering over 15 states and parts of Canada. During weekends off, their “sacred” Sunday ritual of watching Formula 1 racing was never missed.\n\nWe invite all of Tad’s loved ones to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at Warrior Rizen Ranch on 1/15/2022 at 2:00 p.m.\n\nAddress:\n\n3265 S Hwy 66Morgan, UT, UT 84050\n\nSpecial thanks to Annette and the team at Applegate Home Care & Hospice for taking care of our beloved Tad through the end stage of his life.
