Ronald Gabbert

How satisfying it must be for an avid fisherman to have the opportunity to catch his most prized aquatic specimens all over again in the afterlife. If there are fishing opportunities through the veil this is absolutely what Ronald Leon Gabbert has been doing since his spirit crossed over on October 10th, 2026.

Ron was born on June 4th, 1961 in Ogden Utah to parents Kayla and Clayton Gabbert who preceded him in death. His hair and rebellious personality both grew larger than life through adolescence and adulthood and he became known for his wild hair and wild ways. The rebellion was not without kindness and humor, however. His love for silly antics, children, and animals is remembered fondly by those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, April Hatfield, his children Amanda, April, Robert, and Zachary, his siblings Wendy, Lolly, and Nancy, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Those he left behind have been joyfully and tearfully reminiscing of his mischief, humor, and kindness, and those stories will continue to keep his spirit present and his memory alive.
