Richard Alan (Dick) Hart, 75, of West Haven, Utah passed away peacefully at his home on January 31st, 2023.\n\nFuneral services will be held at the Corinne Masonic Temple; 4055 W 2350 N, Corinne, UT 84307 on Saturday February 11th, 2023 from 10:30 am, with services at 11:00 am, followed by a memorial luncheon.\n\nDick was born May 15, 1947 in Ogden, Utah to Glenn & Bernice Hart. He attended Ogden High School, Class of `65, and obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Weber State College in 1972. He married Julie Brown in 1968 and had three sons. They later divorced. \n\nDick worked as a forensic accountant at Chevron for 35 years, which took his family on adventures around the world. He served in the U.S. Army’s 25th Infantry Division, is a veteran of the Vietnam War, and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. Dick is a member of the Masonic Temple Corrine #5 Lodge, and an avid trap shooter at the Ogden Gun Club. Dick enjoyed many other hobbies throughout his life, including candle making, Harley Davidson, model trains, and golf. \n\nDick is preceded in death by his father and mother Glenn & Bernice Hart, brother Fred, and sisters Geraldine and Marilyn. \n\nDick is survived by his three sons Adam (Crystal), Matthew, and Andrew (Tracii), 5 grandchildren, and his two beloved dogs Henry & Hank.\n\nThe family of Richard wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the members of Corinne Masonic Lodge No. 5 for arranging and hosting services, and their invaluable support at this difficult time.
