Farmington – Patricia Gail Brown passed away September 4, 2015 in Ogden, UT. She was born April 23, 1940 to Paul Eugene and Virginia Allen Stamper. She was 1 of 3 children born to this union.She grew up and attended public schools in Michigan. Her family moved to California in the 1960’s and then to Utah in the 1991 and she has resided in Farmington for the last 11 years.Following graduation from High School she immediately enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served her country for 3 years as a Corwave.Patricia was a Claims Processor in the Health Insurance Industry retired from Blue Cross. She also worked as a Cancer Patient Data Systems Tumor Registrar for the Cancer Research Institute. She was an artist at heart where she loved to paint and draw as well as knit and do counted cross stitch. She also felt the importance of learning about her family history and spent many hours working on her genealogy.She was a very loving and friendly person with a delightful personality. She loved to help people in any way she could. She loved Animals and on many occasions was the rescuer of a lost dog or cat and anyone she found in need.While living in California she was introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was baptized in 1988. She has served as a Visiting Teacher, Primary Teacher and Ward Librarian in a number of Wards she has lived in.Patricia is survived by her Sister Marilyn Stamper. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Frank Stamper.Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairways Ward LDS Chapel 1533 North 1075 West, Farmington, UT. A viewing will be held at the church prior to services from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Centerville City Cemetery.
