Odie Faye Hughes Obituary (1943 - 2021)

In loving memory of Odie Faye Hughes. At age 78, Odie passed away peacefully on November 30th 2021. She was born in Little Rock Arkansas to Otis and Dulcie Brown. Faye worked for Hercules Aerospace division for many years. She later went to go work for Progressive youth group home tell she retired. Faye enjoyed the little things in life like going on walks, car rides up the mountains, and just being with her family. She was a hard working mother that always put her family first. She was preceded in death by her parents; father, Otis Brown and mother, Dulcie Manes. Her brother, Ben Brown and two sisters, Eula Brown and Rosemary Carter. Daughter, Judy Ann Peterson and two stepsons, Richard Lee Hughes and Frank Carl Hughes.Faye is survived by her husband Richard J Hughes. Daughter Debra Sue Gurule; Sons Kelly (Joanna) Dixon, Kim (Nealie) Hughes, Robert (Samantha) Hughes, stepdaughter, Carol (Allen) Edwards, and sister Cathy Brown Emmett. Faye had many grandkids and great grandkids she loved every single one of them. She was the best grandma ever. She played a big part in all of our lives and will forever be missed.
