On December 8, 2024, Misty, a beloved daughter, and an adored mother, left us to join the celestial choir and singing loud with the angels. Misty had such a creative and funny soul with a inspiring and resilient spirit that will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved her. Misty lived a life that was as vibrant and full of color as the artwork she loved to create. Her passion for music, shopping, cooking, and most importantly, her family, made her the radiant star that she was. She had a knack for making everyone feel special, and her ability to listen and understand made her a magnet for those seeking comfort and warmth. Misty’s love for her work as a server in the food industry was evident in the way she treated her customers, not as strangers, but as friends. Her time at Denny's was a testament to her dedication and the love she put into her work; she was a cherished figure within her community. In the final months of her life, Misty found solace and strength in her Christian faith, proudly proclaiming Jesus as her savior. Misty's resilience was most evident in her final achievement; she was clean for the last six months of her life, a testament to her strength and determination. She was a beacon of hope, inspiring those around her with her courage and tenacity. She is survived by her daughters Angel (Tianna), and Hailie, grandson Theo, Two Adopted in her heart Allen and Maddie, step father Rich. Also surviving are sisters Kris and Celise, brother Nick (Elisha), one niece and two nephews. Special friend Richard. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Rico, and her mother, Marsha Wallace, who surely welcomed their beloved daughter with open arms. As we celebrate Misty's life, we find comfort in the words of the Bible, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7).
