Martha Barb Reznik, 83, passed away December 23, 2016 at her home in Ogden, UT. She was born September 20, 1933 in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada to Joseph and Hanna Zacharias. She married Bruno Reznik on December 23, 1956 in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Canada. To this union, they were blessed with 2 children. They enjoyed 57 years together when Bruno passed away May 6, 2014.She grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan and attended her early education at Meadow Lake School. She had a love of horses in her younger years while living on the farm. After she and Bruno were married they moved to British Columbia where they started a nursery growing the most beautiful plants and flowers. Their specialty were Azaleas. They also reclaimed the Rockwood Lodge in Sechelt, British Columbia where they used their talents to remodel and landscape the grounds with their beautiful plants and flowers. Martha and Bruno moved to the United States to Ogden, Utah in March of 2004 to be close to their Son Tex.Martha loved to knit and crochet and doing puzzles. She also enjoyed showing her artistic abilities in doing paintings. She always seemed to have a happy attitude and a smile on her face. She loved her grandchildren and was very proud of them.She is survived by her Son: Tex (Diane M.); 3 Grandchildren: Alexandra Jackson, Zachary J. Reznik, Matthew Reznik and Siblings: Leah, Hanna Maggie and Marten. She is also survived by her adoring Dachshund Dogs Tiny and Brandi. She was preceded in death by her Husband Bruno and Daughter Dorothy Lee Reznik.The family would like to express appreciation to the CNS Hospice Nurses and Staff for the wonderful care they provided Martha.
