Logan Robert Stokes, 31, passed away February 21, 2017 in South Ogden, UT at Ogden Regional Medical Center with family at his side following a hard-fought battle with Leukemia. He was born in Bisbee, Arizona to Robert Keith and Tanya Lee Mason Stokes. He married Halie Jean Murphy on August 27, 2012 in Roy, UT and they later separated but remained friends.He grew up in Morenci, AZ where he received his elementary education until the family moved to Spring Creek, NV where he continued his High School Education to receive his Diploma through Home Schooling. He also attended Great Basin College.Logan worked as a Reserve Officer and Detective in the state of Utah. He loved his work and the association of his piers on the job. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in numerous capacities as a Ward Missionary and the Scouting Program. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of The Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed Camping, Spending time with family and friends and going shooting. He was always working to be an excellent marksman.He is survived by his Parents: Robert and Tanya Stokes, Wife, Halie; Step Children: Boston Elmer and Kambrie Hager; Grandmothers: Betty Sutterfield and Nancy Mason; Siblings: Nels Stokes (Kristi), Denver Stokes (Taylor) and Lindsey Stokes (Tony)The family would like to express appreciation to the Doctors and Staff of Huntsman Cancer Institute for their care of Logan.
