Kathryn Jean Naylor Gallegos passed away on January 26th, 2020 at her home in North Ogden, Utah. Kathryn was born on July 17th, 1953 to Floyd and June Naylor of Ogden, Utah. Kathryn married her high school sweetheart Rocky Gallegos on December 26th, 1970. She graduated from Ben Lomond High school class of 1971. Kathryn later attended Steven Henager College and graduated as a Surgical Technician. She later retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 2018. Kathy loved to cross-stitch, read, and listen to books on CD. Kathy selflessly put her loved ones first and was always available to listen and help when she was able. She was very articulate with words and could write so beautifully. Kathy loved all animals and spent most of her life advocating for them through donations, education, and through PETA.Kathy was a living angel and she will be dearly missed. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother June and stepmother LaVerne Naylor, her father Floyd, and her brother Scott Naylor. She is survived by her forever love, Rocky Gallegos, sisters Wendy (Ozz) Om and Susan (Brad) Colvell, sister-in-law Isabelle Naylor, and her children Reagan (John) Pope, Sonja (Jim) Noble, grandkids Mercedes (Tyson) Andersen, Britnee (Alex) Gallegos, Alexis (Erick) Hernandez, Shaylyn, Skyler, and Nathaniel Noble, and a great granddaughter Eliana Hernandez. The family wishes to thank those who have expressed condolences and have kept them in your prayers. There will be a viewing on Saturday, February 8th at 11am to 12 noon at Provident Funeral Home. Due to limited time the family asks only for those who were very close to Kathy or are family to attend the viewing. Kathy will later be cremated and ashes will be given to her daughters and to Rocky and her sister Wendy.
