Karrie Jean Henderson Sanders Obituary (2021)

Karrie graduated from Ben Lomond High School. She met her husband, Trent D. Sanders, at a Church youth function. They were married on September 11, 1982. Karrie and Trent were married for 26 years and raised four children. After their divorce, Karrie settled in Arizona and reconnected with the LDS church. She was an active member of the Coronado Ward in Scottsdale. Karrie attended Weber State for a period of time, focusing her studies on gerontology and social work. Karrie always found joy in helping others and loved animals. She was a beautiful woman who always had a smile on her face and a light in her eyes. She enjoyed spending time with her children, her grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. Karrie was preceded in death by her father, Dean, and her brother, Terry Dean Henderson. She is survived by her mother, Karen, and her sister, Deana Jorgensen (Justin), of Clinton, Utah, as well as her children Maralee Sanders (Steve Indoe), Bound Brook, New Jersey; Hilary Sanders (Brian Arkin), Mesa, Arizona; Zackary Sanders (Nicole Norman), Mesa, Arizona; and Trent Daniel Sanders II, Phoenix, Arizona, and her nine grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, at 1 pm, 526 East 2850 North, North Ogden, Utah 84414. Friends and family may call at Provident Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm prior to graveside services. Masks and social distancing are required.
