On Saturday, April 10, 2021, our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and best friend, Julia Harper Jacobs, left this earthly life, to be with those that have gone before her. What a blessing it has been to have had her as our mother. Julia was born on May 22, 1951 to Hyrum and Mathel Harper, where she was the younger of two children. She was born and raised in Ogden Utah where she graduated from Ogden High School.
She was a good friend to many. She always made you feel important and was a wonderful listener, who would always give you a straight answer, whether you liked it or not. She loved her family and her pets dearly.
She was formerly employed by Fresenius Medical Care, where she made many great lifelong friends.
Julia is survived by her former husband, Clarence Patrick Ross and their three children, Robyn (Alvin) Heckman, Kristie Barney, and Teena (Todd) Manning, her brother Lee (Diana) Harper, six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, many cousins and too many friends to count. She also leaves behind her beloved pets Abbie and Sammy.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hyrum (Pete) and Mathel (Suzy) Harper.
A family gathering will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 4 p.m. at Provident Funeral Home.
3800 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT. 84403
Gathering of friends will be from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Missing You Always
You never said I’m leaving
You never said goodbye.
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why.
In life we loved you dearly
In death we love you still.
In our hearts we hold a place
That only you can fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone.
A part of us went with you
The day God took you home.
We Love and Miss You So Very Much Momma!!!
Your girls!!!
Robyn, Kristie, and Teena
