Jon William Dattke, 54, passed away in Ogden, Utah November 19, 2017. He was born September 10, 1963 in Oakland, California to Jay William and Sandra Lee Courtney Dattke. He resided there for a few years and the family moved to the Desert in Fontana, Hesperia and Phelan. He graduated from Serrano High School in Phelan, CA. He worked for many years in the Construction Industry as a very skilled and talented Drywall Contractor.He loved the “Great Out Doors” whether It was hiking, fishing and his favorite was camping. He loved Football and Baseball and played both during his school years. He was an animal lover and rescued many strays. He loved to go hunt snakes in the desert and would compete with his sister and always came out as the “Champion Snake Hunter”. He loved to Barbecue and made his own sauces. He loved fast cars and most of all loved spending time with his kids.Jon was an honest person that lived a Christian Life and read the Bible and prayed every day. He was known to be unselfish and very loving and a great provider. He was a fighter and a survivor.He is survived by his Wife: Paulette; Sons: Andrew Bryan Dattke, Michael Ryan Dattke; Siblings: Justina Gail Dattke, Justin William Dattke; Niece: Nicole Dattke and Nephew: Travis Lee Walters.The family asks that you remember Jon by following his example of being “Unselfish” and doing something good for someone else.
