The World lost a gentle soul on September 27, 2015 when the “Coolest Lady”, Holli Ranee Groberg passed away. She was born September 8, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alton Edward and Phyllis Schmidt Drake.She attended Schools in Woods Cross and attended Woods Cross High School. She married her High School Sweet Heart Jason Scott Groberg on January 4, 1990 in Farmington, Utah and to this union came their 2 sons.Holli was actively involved in her youth in dancing and baton routines and amazed many people with her talent and especially when she would do her fire baton routine which earned her many awards.She was a very artistic person and brought joy to many people with her talents whether she was sketching, chalk drawing, oil pastels or making her feather gardens. She was an excellent writer and story teller and when her boys were young she developed the Walkie Talkie Book Club where she would read bed time stories to her sons while the neighborhood children listened in on their walkie talkies. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed a good Fantasy or Sci-Fi book.Holli was a very loving and compassionate person. She was very friendly and outgoing. She never left anywhere without making friends with a stranger. She had the gift of being able to strike up a conversation with others. This quality endeared her to many and developed many great friendships. She had a very dry sense of humor and loved cracking jokes and tended to be brutally honest with everyone.She was a true animal lover and always seemed to be very intuitive to them. She always made room for any of the stray animals or for any animals that her sons would bring home including dogs, cats, lizards and even a python snake.Holli was employed by the Winco Grocery Company at the time of her death and had previously worked at the Movie Buff and in her early married life she showed her tremendous love for children by caring for and babysitting many of the neighborhood children. They all loved her and she loved them.She is survived by her adoring husband, Jason Scott Groberg, her loving sons: Jairen Scott Adam Groberg and Tallan Brendan Scott Groberg and her precious grancdhildren: Sunshine and Sage Groberg. She is also survived by her Siblings Tawnya Kim Berger and Jason Drake (Kathy). She was preceded in death by her parents her sister Rona.A celebration of her life will be held, Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 4:00p.m. To whenever at Steeds Park by Steeds Pond, 300 North 1000 West, Clearfield, Utah.In the words of her Husband, “Forever Means Forever” and her two sons, “Moms The Bomb”.
