George Earl Draper, 59, passed away at Davis Hospital in Layton, UT on June 23, 2016 with his family at his side. He was born October 14, 1956 in Elko, NV to Robert and Shirley Draper. He married Terri Sheen in Elko, NV on February 1, 1975. They celebrated 41 beautiful and fun years together.\n\nHe attended School in Elko and graduated in the class of 1974 from Elko High School. He went on to further his education and received a Master’s Degree from Oklahoma University.\n\nGeorge proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant and Senior Enlisted Advisor for the 388th Fighter Wing. His military service took him all over the world including Alaska where his two boys were born, Germany, Iceland and to Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm. He retired from the Air Force in Utah in 1998 and began a career in Civil Service at Hill Air Force Base where he was involved in the ICBM and Foreign Military Sales programs.\n\nHe was a very selfless, generous, loving and ethical man with great integrity. He loved the game of golf, attending classic car shows, recycling, and snow birding in Gold Canyon, AZ. He was happiest when he would spend time with his grandchildren.\n\nHe is survived by his Wife: Terri; Sons: Jeremy (Heidi), Brandon (Lesley); 5 Grandchildren: Adison, MaKiley, Lily, Beckham, Cason; Father: Robert Draper, Brother: Jeff and Father-in-law Bill Sheen. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Sister Julie Puccinelli and Mother-in-law Penny Sheen.\n\nThe family would like to thank family, friends, neighbors and co-workers for the love and support and the care they showed George.\n\nA celebration of George’s Life will be held at the family home the evening of October 14, 2016 in recognition of his 60th Birthday.
