Donald Ray Warren, Jr., 57, passed away February 7, 2016 with his Wife April at his side. He was born October 1, 1958 in California to Donald Ray and Marjorie Lorraine Hausen Warren.He was a Truck Driver for many years having worked for L. W. Miller and Miller Brothers Express Trucking Companies. He enjoyed being out on the road and bringing home little gifts for his Wife April from his travels.Donald loved working on cars and his pride and joy was his 1948 Ford Truck that he fully restored and would travel around to many car shows to compete and captured many awards for his quality workmanship on his truck. He also enjoyed building car and truck models.He spent 3 years caring for his Mother-in-law while she was bed ridden until her death. This created a great bond between them.April would like to express appreciation everyone for the love, care and prayers and to the Doctors, Chemotherapy and Radiology Depts., Nurses and Staff for the care they provided to Donald.Verse from Donald and April’s wedding vows: “Dedication, love, and joy can grow only when you nourish them together. Stand fast in that hope and confidence, having faith in your shared destiny just as strongly as you have faith in yourselves and in one another today. Only with this spirit can you forge a union that will strengthen and endure all the days of your lives.”He is survived by his Wife, April; Son, Shelby Conger, Step-Son, Michael R. Just, 2 sisters, 2 Brothers, a host of nieces and nephews and his loving cat Boo. He was preceded in death by his Parents.Family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Donald Ray Warren, Jr. Memorial Fund at America First Credit Union.
