Donal Victor Elus February 10, 1934 - August 17, 2023 \n\nDonal passed away at his home, after a brief illness.\nHe is preceded in death by his father, Victor Elus, a sheepherder who immigrated from Spain at the age of 16, his mother Mabel Violet Stanley, brother, Gayland Elus, who was killed in the Korean War, brother Roger Barber, and sister Gloria Johnson and His wife and sweetheart of 65 years Shirlene Hanney, Elus.\n\nVic spent his years in Roy, and West Point, Utah, before moving to West Haven, Utah, where he lived for the past 31 years. He served in the Navy Reserves for 8 years and retired from Hill Air Force Base after a long career as a packer, carpenter, and mailman.\n\nIn his spare time, Vic was always working on repairing electrical motors, puttering in the yard, or packing for a exciting hunting or fishing trip. He had a good eye for spotting valuable items and was a collector of many things. \n\nVic is survived by his two children, Donal Wayne Elus and Jackie Elus Spencer (husband Tracy), 3 granddaughters, and 5 great grandchildren.
