Diana Allard passed away March 15, 2015. She was born April 9, 1944 in Ogden, UT to Carlos Jose and Lilly Martinez Gallegos. She married James Sherman and to this union she was blessed with her daughter Kristine. They later divorced. She married Charles Allard and to this union she was blessed with her son David. They later divorced.She attended Ogden Schools and also Beauty School following graduation and was involved in making people beautiful with her expert services until shortly before she passed away.Diana loved music, dancing, telling stories and spending time on Facebook. She also enjoyed spending time at the Clearfield Senior Center where she would put on her Dancing Diva Shoes and also attending dinners and playing Bingo. She could often be found spending time watching old movies and writing her memoirs, a book about her life. Her favorite color was purple and enjoyed evenings with the Captain.She is survived by her children: Kristine Okada (Sean) and David Allard; 4 grandchildren: Sean Anthony Okada, Destiny Martinez, Jared Okada and Marshall Okada; 1 great granddaughter Judy Ann Okada; siblings: Orlando Gallegos, Frances Chacon, John Gallegos (Benita), Maria Martinez (Carlos), Helen Hoffman, June Severin (Tony) and Bertha Jacques (Joe) and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her four legged children Mylee, Coco Bear, Furby, Lilly-Bug, Bobby, Dottie and her 4 gold fish.Diana was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Philbert Gallegos, Gilbert Gallegos, Carlos Gallegos, Dolores N. Gallegos and Julia Alderete.The family would like to express appreciation to Suzan, Lisa and Benita for their love and care given to Diana.A celebration of her life will be held Saturday March 21, 2015 from 10:00a.m.-12:00 noon at Affordable Funeral and Cremation Solutions 3800 South Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT. Please wear something purple in her memory.The “Diva” has gone sailing with the Captain into a beautiful purple sunset.In lieu of flowers family suggest donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
