Ogden – David Emerald Graham passed away March 15, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born March 20, 1942 in Ogden, Utah, to Emerald and Mildred Palmer Graham.He Graduated from Ogden High School. He married Luana Delacruz and they later divorced. He married Claudia Miller and they celebrated 45 years together. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service and retired young, after many years of service.Dave loved hunting, fishing and being in the great outdoors. He loved and appreciated fast cars and playing guitar. His real joy came from spending time with his family and helping family and friends. He was a loving, caring and thoughtful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was “Big Dave” to his brothers and sisters. He went without to give to others, and went out of his way to help anyone. He will be greatly missed.He is survived by his wife Claudia; daughters: Mary Kathryn Steinmetz (Craig) and Lori Jacquelyn Orr; six grandchildren: Cameron, Jantzen, Jaclyn, Braxton, Bailey and Bronx; Siblings: Barbara Hess (Dennis), Duane Graham, Doug Graham (Marj) and Nancy Graham. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving parents.A visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Affordable Funeral and Cremation Solutions 3800 South Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT. Private Graveside Service and interment will be held at Ogden City Cemetery.The family would like to express appreciation to Dr. Alan Abdulla and Encompass Hospice, and their nursing staff, for the love and care given to Dave.
