Brittany Lou Vandemyle - Gibson was a ray of sunshine. She was born in Ogden, Utah November 4th, 1970 to Jim Gibson and Mary Lund. She also had one sister Nickol Logan that was a few years younger than her. Later on they moved to Rapid City, South Dakota where she graduated from Stevens High School in 1988. A couple years later she had her first child Ranieca, in 1990 and just short of a year apart had her other daughter Tiaja, in 1991. Eventually she would move to California to raise her children and then in 2005 move to Utah where she spent the rest of her life. She worked at Hill Airforce Base as a scheduler for about 15 years. In November of 2021 she was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer where she fought a long and hard battle until the day she passed away, August 11th, 2023 surrounded by so much love. Doctors could not believe how someone could be so positive and so strong with her diagnosis.\n\nBrittany was one of a kind. She would do anything for anyone, even if it meant putting herself last to make them happy. She always said she was an introvert but for those who knew her, knew she was definitely an extrovert. Should could talk for hours on the many different projects she was doing, if someone was interested. But one hobby of hers that stood out to most, was how amazing she was at woodwork. She was self taught and put so much thought into all her pieces. You could say she was a master woodworker with how detailed she was in every piece she made.
