Brandon Bills

–

Huntsville, Utah

Brandon Joseph Bills, of Huntsville, Utah, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 40. He was born on December 27, 1984, in Ogden, Utah, to Robert and Dana Bills, who raised him with love, steady guidance, and a deep appreciation for family and community. Brandon grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ben Lomond High School, carrying forward the values, friendships, and unwavering sense of purpose that shaped the remarkable man he became.
Brandon met and married Kasey Malan, and together they welcomed their son, Ryker J. Bills. Becoming a father was one of Brandon’s greatest joys. Though he and Kasey later divorced, they remained united in raising Ryker, always placing his happiness and well-being first.
Later, Brandon met the love of his life, Jodi Rose, whose warmth, laughter, and companionship brought renewed light into his world. Together, they completed their family with the arrival of their son, Jace Halvor Bills. Brandon cherished fatherhood deeply, finding his greatest fulfillment in loving, guiding, and supporting his two boys.
In January 2007, Brandon graduated from the police academy and proudly began his career with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office. For 19 years, he served with dedication, integrity, and compassion, ultimately earning the rank of Corporal. Brandon took immense pride in his role and in protecting and serving the people of Weber County. He was just under a year from a well-deserved retirement—a milestone reflecting years of hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment.
Beyond his law-enforcement career, Brandon embraced the land and the peaceful rhythm of farm life. He became a hobby goat farmer and proudly formed Crazy B Livestock, a venture that brought him joy, purpose, and a deep sense of connection. Tending to his animals and building something meaningful from the ground up reflected Brandon’s patience, dedication, and gentle spirit.
Brandon will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous heart, loyalty, and steady dependability. He had a remarkable ability to make others feel safe, supported, and valued. He loved the outdoors, treasured time with his family, and found meaning in the simple, heartfelt moments of everyday life—especially those shared with Jodi, Ryker, and Jace.
Brandon is survived by his loving wife, Jodi Rose Bailey; his sons, Ryker J. Bills and Jace Halvor Bills; and his parents, Robert and Dana Bills. He is also survived by his brothers Robb (Jill), Todd, Brian (Diane), and Dave (Kira); his sister Judi McMinn (Michael); and his sisters-in-law Lori Capener (Spanky) and Shauna Brown. In addition, he leaves behind godchildren, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends and extended family, all of whom were touched by his kindness, humor, and love.
His presence was a blessing, and his loss leaves a deep and lasting ache. Yet his legacy of service, humility, compassion, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him—and most especially through the lives of his two beloved sons.

A viewing will be held Friday December 12, 2025 from 6:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday December 13, 2025 from 12:00pm-1:00PM. Funeral services starting at 1pm. All to be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 277 S 7400 E, Huntsville, UT
