Anna Joyce Carter Record, 86, our beautiful Angel received her wings and happily ‘Zoomed’ on out of here to be with her Heavenly Father on February 3, 2021.\n\nShe was born to Lloyd and Minnie Carter on January 5, 1935 in Ogden, Utah. She grew up in the Ogden area and attended Weber County Schools.\n\nShe married Ocie Clayton Record on November 21, 1970 and were later sealed in the Ogden Temple on December 12, 2015. She eventually became the Vice President of Ogden First Federal becoming one of the first women in banking to hold such a high position. She continued working into her seventies.\n\nAnna had many lifelong friends. She belonged to a Birthday Club where she outlived most of the members. She had a great group of friends that attended Washington grade school together and remained close throughout their lives. We are sure Joyce, Nancy, and Lois couldn’t wait to greet her. Everyone that has come in contact with Anna has loved her and she is known simply as ‘Grandma Anna.’\n\nAnna was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in several positions. She especially loved her weekly temple trips.\n\nAnna enjoyed gardening, relaxing at the cabin, watching sports (especially her Utah Jazz), her Diet Coke, and spending time with her family.\n\nAnna is the beloved mother to Dayle Whitworth, Clayton Record, Joel (Sheri) Record, Colleen (Walt) Johnstun, Debbie (Rich) Anthony, and Scott (Dorris) Kinser. She was also grandmother to 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and 2 great-great grandchildren with one on the way whom she loved dearly and whose lives she greatly blessed. She is greatly loved by her family and will be deeply missed.\n\nAnna is survived by a sister, Doris Sanders.\n\nAnna has many family members and friends greeting her with open arms and boisterous laughs on the other side.\n\nWe would like to give a special thanks to her hospice caregivers Jocoy and Lilly for taking such good care of her and to Mykel, Belinda, and Tara for the love and service they showed our Mother.\n\nGraveside services for family will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the South Morgan Cemetery.\n\nAlthough Anna had requested no funeral services were to take place, the family would greatly appreciate any memories or stories you have of her.
