It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Andrea Wood, on April 10, 2026. Born in Ogden, Utah, on August 9, 1959, Andrea spent the majority of her 66 years in the beautiful city of Layton, Utah. As a true testament to her strong-willed spirit and resilience, Andrea never let the limitations of life define her. She was a vibrant soul who loved fiercely and lived fully, with a heart that radiated kindness and warmth.

Andrea was a woman of immense strength and courage. Despite never being employed, she was the richest person we knew in terms of love, kindness, and compassion. Her life was a living testament to the phrase, "wealth is not measured by the money you have but by the love you give." Andrea was a beacon of light and hope, her infectious laughter and her ability to find joy in the simplest things made her a joy to be around. She had a unique ability to make anyone feel special and loved. Her zest for life, her spirit, and her unwavering love towards her family will be dearly missed.

Andrea is survived by her loving brother, Garner Wood; her caring sister, Allyson Makin; her dear cousins, Deborah Booth and Christian Whitesides; and her cherished niece, Kacia Wood. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Rosalie and Lairy Wood, and her dear brother, Keenan Wood. Each of them played a significant role in her life, shaping the remarkable woman she became.

We invite all who knew Andrea to share their memories, stories, and photos on her memorial page. Your contributions will serve as a comfort to us all and help us remember the incredible woman who touched our lives so deeply. As we navigate this difficult time, we take solace in knowing that Andrea's spirit lives on in each of us through our cherished memories of her.
