Our dear Aimee Lyn (Squire) Jacobs, age 52, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023 in her home in Roy, Utah. She courageously fought cancer for many years and did not back down. She is now on a new adventure being greeted by her loved ones that were waiting for her on the other side. \n\nShe was born on December 9, 1970 in Vernal, Utah to Kenneth & Susanne (Ogden) Squire. Her first battle with cancer started at age 5 when she contracted Leukemia. Even in these young years her bravery showed through. She has always had a kind and loving demeanor and it showed through all that she did.\n\nAimee had a love for scrapbooking and crafts. She spent many loving hours making things to be displayed in her home or to be given to family and friends. She collected pins, porcelain dolls, and dragons. She also loved cats and had several of them during her lifetime that she loved like they were her own children.\n\nShe had a great love for fantasy and science fiction. It was one of the big things they bonded over when she first met Brad. They met at Deseret Industries where he “picked her up” in the “small as-is” aisle. They were married on August 10, 2013. Soon afterwards she contracted cancer yet again and she bravely faced that dragon too.\n\nAnother of her great loves was attending FanX and other similar conventions with family and friends. She loved to make costumes and wear them at these events (known as Cosplay). She loved to go to her local Star Trek club events to be with her friends that shared her love for geek culture. \n\nShe was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and exhibited great child-like faith and a strong testimony. She was always serving family and friends by sending thoughtful cards and crafts, or even just cheering up people with her infectious smile. \n\nAimee is survived by her husband Brad Jacobs, her siblings Gregory Squire (Jennifer Jackson Squire) from Pleasant Grove Utah, Connie Higgs (Jeff Higgs) from Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, Jennifer Edens (Adam Manning) from Layton, Utah, Steven Squire (Heather Mcardle) from Layton, Utah, and Emily Feinauer (Virgil Feinauer) from West Jordan, Utah.
