Ogden – Adele Sanders Skeen, 75, passed away September 26, 2016 in Ogden, UT. She was born October 9, 1940 in Ogden, UT to Dale and Zelma Davison Sanders. She married Tad Ralf Skeen March 18, 1960 in Preston, ID. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2015 after celebrating 55 wonderful years together.She was a lifelong resident of Ogden and attended Ogden City Schools and graduated from Ogden High School. She worked for many years in the Ogden City Schools as a cook and “Lunch Lady”. She was a Christian and a member of Washington Heights Church where she enjoyed attending Bible Study with her friends.Adele was a volunteer at McKay-Dee Hospital and enjoyed reaching out to friends and neighbors with a visit or an act of kindness when they were in need. She loved playing cards with friends and was a lover of animals. She was known to be an outgoing and friendly person but had a feisty streak that would come out and told you what was on her mind.She is survived by her children: Keri Lyn Wigdahl, Bryan Tad Skeen (Janeice); grandchildren: Kevin Daily (Jenny), Luke Wigdahl, Corey Skeen, Ashley Skeen; great granddaughter, Kendallyn Daily; nephews: Lance Palmer and Brady Skeen and Niece Lorel Palmer. She is also survived by sister, Carol Palmer and sister-in-law Chris Skeen and her friend and companion her dog Sage. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tad, brother-in-law Lawrie Skeen and great granddaughter, Danica Daily.A visitation will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 from 11:00am-12:30pm at Provident Funeral Home 3800 South Washington Blvd., Ogden followed by a graveside service at 1:00pm at the Ogden City Cemetery.The family suggest donations be made to “Best Friends” or any cause that cares for animals.
